30+ Years in the Industry

Scott Crane, owner and operator, began his career in the billiard industry in 1995 as an installer. Over the next three decades he has held virtually every position in the industry — installation, service, sales, and national installation training. That breadth of experience means he brings more to every job than just the ability to assemble a pool table. He understands the equipment, the brands, the common failure points, and how to fix problems that other mechanics miss or ignore.

What Makes Us Different

Most pool table mechanics learned the trade from someone else who learned it informally. There's no formal certification process for pool table mechanics in Georgia, which means quality varies enormously. We've seen the results of poor work on nearly every job we take — tables that were never properly leveled, felt that was stretched incorrectly, slates that were improperly shimmed. Our inspection process documents all of it, and we correct what we can as part of every service call.

We also use professional-grade tools. Our Starrett precision machinist's level is the same type used in machine shops and manufacturing — it measures level at a precision that standard bubble levels simply can't achieve. The difference shows in how the table plays.
